This Indian Snack comes from Maharashtra as well as Gujarat. The versions differ slightly, but both have the wonderfully sweet, spicy and addictive taste. In our natural, organically grown Bhakarwadi we used Lokwan, to get all the extra health benefits for you.

The Sesame Seeds with its natural, tasteful oil combined with the goodness of Jeera and the sweetness of Coconut makes the Bhakarwadi so delicious. The dough is made by combining Lokwan Wheat Flour with Sunflower Oil.

To make the stuffing one roasts the sesame seeds and adds jeera and coconut. Then the stuffing is getting ground. Afterwards, the dough is getting rolled out and the stuffing spread on top. Then one rolls the dough with stuffing and cuts it into small pieces. These then get deep-fried until crispy.
